Sealing Antique Brown Granite

Antique Brown Granite

Antique Brown Granite

QUESTION:

Hi, I have a polished african antique brown granite countertop and I'm not sure if it needs to be sealed. Does it need sealer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much. Sally

ANSWER:

Nope! It doesn't need sealing... in fact will not "take" a sealer. Antique Brown granite is too dense. The sealer simply wouldn't absorb and nothing else will either, so.... no worries!

Regards,
Ryan

granite countertop cleanerI highly recommend MB Stone Care Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle) but found MB Stone Care is the most reliable and effective.

Antique brown water marks
by: Anonymous

Hi,

We have antique brown and one of the pieces (we have 4) is very prone to water marks from the bottom of glasses. Is there any way to get these out or at least protect from more in the future?

Thanks!
