Dull Marble Vanity Top Stain

QUESTION:
I spilled strong toilet cleaner on my marble countertop. Before I saw it and cleaned it off it had left two dull spots where the cleaner touched the marble. I can't tell if it etched the marble or just took the shine. Is there a way to repair this?
ANSWER:
Sounds like you caught it pretty quick before the cleaner had time to etch the marble severely. If the surface still feels smooth, but is just dull then it's a mild case of etching and... you are probably in luck!
You should be able to get the shine back using a good marble polishing paste like the
ETCH REMOVER / Marble polishing paste.
Marble polishing paste will work for mild etch marks. Severe etch marks that are rough on the touch require a professional.
Good Luck,
Ryan
