Weird Marble Tile Floor Bubble Surface

QUESTION:

Hi, my friend has a beautiful marble tiles floor throughout her bottom unit in one area between the kitchen and bathroom her tiles have a bubble like rough surface ....she has had it professionally cleaned I think they may have rubbed it back and then polished it but the stain still comes through it cost her about 5,000.00 to have this done would you know what would be causing this problem. Thank you Fay

ANSWER:

You call it a "bubble-like rough surface" and a "stain," so I'm not really sure what the problem is.

You seem to be saying that the smooth polished surface becomes rough in one area.

Without a more complete description of the problem (color, when started, how large, maintenance routine) I can't really answer this one. A picture would help a lot.

Use the form to ask another question, provide more details and post a picture if you like and I'll do my best.

Regards,
Ryan

I highly recommend Stone Care Pro Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found Stone Care Pro is the most reliable and effective and cheaper too!
