Tumbled Marble Vanity Top Stain

QUESTION:
I have a stain that is oil and a stain that is hair color. What would you recommend to get these out?

ANSWER: To remove stains from any porous surface like marble and other stones you need to make a poultice.

A poultice is a paste about the consistency of toothpaste or peanut butter made by mixing an absorbent substance like baby powder, talc, diatomaceous earth (used in pool filters) or paper towels with a chemical agent like acetone, hydrogen peroxide or alcohol.

The absorbent can be any one of those listed and/or the same for any type stain, but the chemical used will changed based on what type of stain you have: organic, biological, metal, etc.

You'll find complete step-by-step instructions for cleaning marble stains of all types with correct chemical ingredients, etc. in the Removing Granite & Marble Stains e-book.

After you get the stains out, apply an impregnating sealer. I'd suggest using one of these recommended impregnating sealers.

Good Luck,
Ryan
