Stained Marble Coffee Tables

QUESTION:
I have 3 set of knoll coffee tables with calacatta marble, over the years of course all are stained ...The original installer will clean and seal at no charge. I saw same tables at a friend and the marble was so shiny that never got stained...Which sealer should I use? Thank you, Anna
ANSWER:
For sealers, I'd recommend
STONE SENTRY or SenGuard Sealers.
However, the sealer does not make the marble shiny.
The shine is created by intense friction using huge machines at the factory. A professional could re-polish them with special abrasives to try and get a better shine.
But some stones simply don't get as shiny as others... nothing you can do about that.
Are you sure you don't have etching? Using the wrong cleaning products and/or contact with acidic foods and drinks will make marble dull.
You can use
SCP- Marble Polishing Paste to remove etch marks and improve the shine.
Also, you can use
DAZZLE Polish, which will not remove etch marks like the above polishing paste, but it's a non-permanent topical dressing that will enhance the shine and make your marble look it's best.
Good Luck,
Ryan
