Removing Sharpie Marker from Marble Flooring

by Anne
(Edgewater, FL)

QUESTION:

How can I remove Sharpie marker from my white marble medallion? HELP PLEASE!! Thanks SO MUCH!

ANSWER:

Cleaning marble with a Sharpie or any permanent marker stain can be difficult. The ink gets below the surface and into the pores so you can't just scrub it off with a surface cleaner.

You'll need to follow the instructions in the Removing Stains Manual.

Like I indicated, you may need to repeat the process a few times, but the technique in the ebook is very effective.

If for some reason you weren't able to remove it even with repeated applications, then your only other option is to hire a pro to re-finish the area.

Good Luck,
Ryan

I highly recommend Stone Care Pro Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found Stone Care Pro is the most reliable and effective and cheaper too!
