Remove Crazy Glue From Marble Vanity

by Joann
(Phoenix, AZ)

QUESTION:

How do I remove crazy glue from a white marble bathroom countertop?

ANSWER:

For cleaning marble with crazy glue stuck on it use 100% acetone from hardware store (do not use finger nail polish remover).

Acetone is pH neutral and won't damage marble, but finger nail polish remover often has additional ingredients besides acetone that can damage marble.

Soak the super glue with acetone for a few minutes, then use a razor blade at a low angle. Push the blade into the glue to remove. Don't scrape at it.

Again apply acetone to remove any remaining residue and clean with a natural stone product made for safely cleaning marble.
