Remove Adhesive From Marble Table

QUESTION:

How do I remove adhesive from a company place stick to the top of the marble tabletop that is brand new?

ANSWER:

Use 100% acetone. Do not use fingernail polish remover. Yes, it has acetone, but other stuff too that sometimes will etch marble.

Acetone is neutral and will not harm the marble.

Soak the adhesive in the acetone and wipe away with a soft cloth if possible. If necessary a plastic scraper can be gently used.
