Outdoor Kitchen Adjacent To Indoor Kitchen

by Rae Ryan
(Cincinnati)

QUESTION:

Is it possible to put a vented grill against the wall of the house so that the indoor portion of the kitchen and the outdoor portion are close to each other or must the grill be fixed away from the house?

ANSWER:

I'm not sure that I completely understand your question, but the only concern is if the outdoor kitchen grill abuts flammable material. You want the grill set-up to be safe and not a potential fire hazard, but it can be against the house if properly installed with appropriate heat shielding, materials, etc.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck,
Ryan
