Marble Vanity Top Marked With Cleaning Product

by Shel
(UK)

QUESTION:

I have inadvertently used a cleaning product in the sink of the vanity unit and it has splashed the marble leaving marks. Can you tell me what I can do to remove these marks and what I should use to clean it in the future. Thanks

ANSWER:

The cleaning product has "etched" the marble. This is a reaction that eats away a bit of the marble.

It can be restored with MB-11 Marble Polishing Powder.

For general cleaning do not use generic or common household cleaners (most will damage). Use a marble safe cleaner like MB-5 Stone Cleaner.

Regards,
Ryan

granite countertop cleanerI highly recommend MB Stone Care Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle) but found MB Stone Care is the most reliable and effective.
