Marble Vanity Top Burn

QUESTION: How do I get rid of a curling iron burn from my white marble vanity top?

ANSWER: If your marble vanity top is polished (probably so) then I would recommend that you call in a professional. Most likely the burn will need to be sanded away and the marble re-polished.

If you really want to try yourself, then get a "00" steel wool pad and sand the burn until gone.

This may leave a bit of a dull spot that needs to be polished. Polishing is done by friction.... much like sanding, so also get a "000" and a "0000" steel wool pad.

Work the area using the "000" pad first and then with the "0000" pad until you get a shiny surface.

You'll find more detailed information about this and all cleaning marble issues in the Cleaning Marble Secrets ebook.

Let me know how it goes.

Good Luck,
Ryan
