Marble Stain Mystery

QUESTION: My white marble has a stain that I don't know what it is. What do I do?



ANSWER: Nothing yet! It's important to know the history of the mystery (sorry... that just came out [-:) before acting. Don't try to clean it or put anything on it until we do a little detective work.

It would help a lot if you could take a picture. Descriptions are fine, but a photo really serves to clarify the problem.

Once you have the photo saved to your computer, it is very easy to upload using the same form you asked this question with. Where it says "Upload an image" just click the "Browse" button and find the photo where you saved it on your computer.

Here's what else I need to know...

Where in your house is the stain?

What color is it?

What shape is it?

How big is it?

When did you notice it and/or best guess when it happened?

Is/was there any object, product or substance on or near the area of the stain?

So do a little sleuthing and ask again. Once I have enough info, I can provide the solution!
