Marble Sink Soap Stain

QUESTION:

Hello! my marble sink has ben stained orange and we think it is probably from soap. How can I get rid of it without damaging the marble? Its a very smooth marble.

Stains occur when some substance has absorbed into the pores of the marble below the surface.

Soap typically will not stain marble unless possibly there was some type of dye in the soap.
