Marble Kitchen Table Lemonade Spot

QUESTION

My son spilled lemonade on our marble kitchen table, and there is a huge dull spot. How can I get rid of that spot?

ANSWER:

Lemonade is acidic and marble is sensitive to acids. So, the lemonade has eaten away or "etched" the shiny surface layer of the marble creating a dull spot.

Not to worry though because using SCP- Marble Polishing Paste will cure the problem.

This paste is formulated specifically for this purpose. It's easy to use... just rub on the area and watch the shine and color return.

Now, if the etching is real severe (very rough) then you may need to call a marble maintenance professional. But in most cases the paste works fantastic.

Won't help with a spill, but etching is the reason you always want to use coasters, place mats and trivets. Also, you want to use only products safe for cleaning marble.

Good Luck,
Ryan

I highly recommend Stone Care Pro Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found Stone Care Pro is the most reliable and effective and cheaper too!
