QUESTION:

Crema Marfil Demmer polished honed shower tile... How do you repair etching on marble tile? What products do you use and what products are best used to clean the tile?

ANSWER:

First you need to determine if the marble tile is honed or polished. You stated that the tile is "polished honed." These are two different types of finishes.

Polished is shiny. Honed is matte. Now you could have a mix of polished and honed tile, but one tile cannot be both... just to clarify.

I recommend MB Products . They are specially formulated for marble. Generic and/or typical household cleaning products found in stores are not safe for marble. They will cause damage and etch the marble.

For a shower, you'll want MB-3 Soap Scum Remover and MB-9 for mildew.
