Marble Cleaning Magic Marker Stains

QUESTION:

i have crema marfil marble , i marked the pieces i received from tthe stone cutting place with a pink marker to show him of some areas i was concerned with, well little did i realize that the pink marker did not fully come out of the marble when i wiped it off, i am such an idiot, it is a very lite sstain but i need to see if i can remove it before i seal the marble. please help as i am desperate and upset . and what is the best sealer to use? an impregnator sealer?

ANSWER:

Cleaning marble permanent marker stains can be difficult. The ink gets into the pores of the marble, so standard cleaning methods won't work.

You may have some luck using alcohol for cleaning marble magic marker stains by just wiping, but if not, then you'll have to follow the step-by-step instructions outlined in the Removing Marble & Granite Stains e-book which covers all types of stains including cleaning marble magic marker stains.

Good Luck,
Ryan

I highly recommend Stone Care Pro Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found Stone Care Pro is the most reliable and effective and cheaper too!
