Lysol Etching on Marble Table Top
QUESTION:
I accidentally sprayed Lysol multi purpose cleaner on a marble tabletop and it left etching marks all over. How do I fix it?
ANSWER:
You may have already known (and you certainly do now) but you must use only
products safe for cleaning marble.
Most other household cleaners will damage and etch marble.
But luckily all but severe (rough to touch) etch marks can be repaired usually to "like-new" condition.
On polished shiny marble use the
Marble Polish / Etch Remover to restore the color and shine with just a little rubbing.
If per chance you have a honed (matte) finish, then the etch remover won't give you the right finish and shouldn't be used.
Instead follow the instruction in the
Removing Etch Marks ebook or call in a marble cleaning and maintenance pro.
Good Luck,
Ryan
