Hair Spray On Marble Countertops
by K. Jordan

QUESTION:
We have marble in our bathroom and it is covered with hairspray residue. How do we get it off of there without scratching the surface?
ANSWER:
Use acetone (not fingernail polish) and a soft-scrub brush or nylon pad to remove the hair spray residue.
If your marble is supposed to be shiny, but is now dull, then you have etching.
To restore the shine you'll need to use
SCP: Marble Polishing Paste.
Good Luck,
