Hair Gel Stain On Limestone Vanity

QUESTION:

Hi i have a newish limestone, cream coloured vanity top and I left some hair gel over night on it and it has made a dark brown ring stain. Is there anything I can do to remove this.? Many thanks, Martin

ANSWER:

Stains on stone occur when something absorbs into the pores below the surface. Because the stain is below the surface regular cleaning methods will not work.

Since this is a rather new stain, you should be able to get it out easily.
