Glass Rings on Carrara Marble

QUESTION:

We have some glass rings on our Carrara marble, how can we get rid of them?

ANSWER:

The "glass rings" are from acid etching and cannot be prevented except to eliminate contact with acidic foods and drinks by using coasters, trivets, place mats, etc.

Luckily, etch marks and glass rings can be easily removed (in all but severe cases) using SCP: Marble Polishing Paste that is simple to use and will restore the color and shine.

It's a must have product if you have marble.
