Finger Nail Polish Remover Etched Marble
QUESTION:
A little finger nail polish remover dripped on my bathroom dark emperador marble. When I wiped it off it is etched.. Is there anything I can do to bring back the shine?
ANSWER:
Marble countertops and tile will etch when in contact with too acidic or too alkaline products leaving dull and discolored spots.
Finger nail polish remover is made with acetone (which will not harm marble an is often used to clean marble) and some other ingredients.
Well, these "other ingredients" can often be damaging to marble countertops, etc.
Luckily,
SCP: Marble Polishing Paste is designed specifically to repair etch marks and will restore the color and shine almost like magic.
It's very easy to use as well... apply and buff the etched area.
Good Luck,
Ryan
