Faded White Spot On Marble Coffee Table

QUESTION:

My marble top table is brown and yellow color and has a white fade on one spot probably from the hat cup of coffe.

What should I do?

Is this fixable?

And what is the best way to clean the marble and what products to use? Thank you!

ANSWER:

If the "white fade" spot you note is dull and lighter in color than the rest of the marble, then you have an etch mark and yes, it could be from coffee spilled.

To remove the etch mark use SCP: Marble Polishing Paste, which is made just for this.

For marble care products you want to only use products safe for cleaning marble because most common cleaners will etch marble.

Good Luck,
Ryan

I highly recommend Stone Care Pro Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found Stone Care Pro is the most reliable and effective and cheaper too!
