Dark Marble Sink Water Stain

QUESTION:

My daughter left the water drizzling in the dark marble sink for an entire day. The water left a whitish discoloration in the bottom of the sink. Is there any way to remove the 'stain'?

ANSWER:

Water alone will not stain or do a darn thing to marble, so my only guess is that the whitish 'stain' is actually hard water minerals left behind and dried out after the water was turned off.

Since it is a recent event, it shouldn't be hard to remove with super fine 0000 steel wool. You can probably get it at your hardware store or check our products page to order some.

If that doesn't seem to do it, then I recommend you use MB-3 Soap/Hard Water spray for marble and stone.

Good Luck,
Ryan
