Cleaning Tumbled Marble Bluish Well-Water Stains
QUESTION:
I have just bought a house that has a tumbled marble shower. The shower tile has bluish stains from the acidic water (well water). How should I clean the tile to remove the bluish stains? The marble tiles are sand colored.
ANSWER:
This seems like a mineral build-up for which I'd recommend
PRISTINE Hard Water/Soap Film Remover.
Spray on, let sit 5-10 minutes, spray more and scrub with soft-bristle brush. You may have to repeat a few times if this is long-term build-up.
If it turns out to be some sort of stain (substance absorbed into the marble) vs. mineral build-up, then you should follow the instructions in the
Removing Stains Manual.
Good Luck,
