Cleaning Tumbled Marble Bluish Well-Water Stains

QUESTION:

I have just bought a house that has a tumbled marble shower. The shower tile has bluish stains from the acidic water (well water). How should I clean the tile to remove the bluish stains? The marble tiles are sand colored.

ANSWER:

This seems like a mineral build-up for which I'd recommend PRISTINE Hard Water/Soap Film Remover.

Spray on, let sit 5-10 minutes, spray more and scrub with soft-bristle brush. You may have to repeat a few times if this is long-term build-up.

If it turns out to be some sort of stain (substance absorbed into the marble) vs. mineral build-up, then you should follow the instructions in the Removing Stains Manual.

Good Luck,
Ryan

I highly recommend Stone Care Pro Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found Stone Care Pro is the most reliable and effective and cheaper too!
