Cleaning Marble Washbasin

QUESTION:

I have a marble wash basin and I would like to know, how and what to keep it clean with on a regular basis as I know using the regular cleaning agents can damage the marble. At the same time, wiping it with warm water and chamoise doesn't help much, when the basin gets dirty.

ANSWER:

For general marble cleaning you certainly want a product made specifically safe for natural stone like the All Purpose Stone Surface Spray Cleaner (click here) we recommend.

You can use it for cleaning marble washbasins, countertops, tub and shower walls, granite and other natural stone and even mirrors since it dries streak-free.

Of course, if you click around the Stone Care Center you'll find many other problem specific products safe for cleaning marble, marble maintenance and care of all natural stone.

Good Luck,
Ryan

See which products I recommend as the best for cleaning marble, travertine & marble maintenance, cleaning granite countertops, granite sealers and keeping all your stone and floors in optimal condition. I've used many good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found others more reliable, effective and cheaper too!
