Cleaning Marble Vanity Top Rust Stain
QUESTION:
Looks like yellowing or rust stains. What is best cleaner to remove stains?
ANSWER:
Unfortunately, no "cleaner" will remove a stain from marble or natural stone. A stain occurs when a substance gets absorbed into the marble pores
below the surface.
A regular "cleaner" of any sort cannot lift out the stain. You have to use a multi-step process to get the stain out.
Luckily it's easy and cheap to do, although rust stains can be particularly difficult. You'll find complete step-by-step instructions in the
Removing Stains Manual.
