Hard Water & Mildew Stains

QUESTION:
Our tile is a tan creme color and is decorative with a textured finish. We have extremely hard water and it is staining our marble tile, do you have any suggestions? We are going to put a filter on but need to clean the water stains first. Also, if we shouldn't us chemicals or vinegar how can we keep down the mildew? Thanks
ANSWER:
So, the hard water is causing a whitish, crusty and/or dull build-up on your marble shower tile?
If this is what is occurring, then I recommend you use
PRISTINE Hard Water/Soap Film Remover.
For cleaning marble shower mildew use
BLAST Mildew Remover.
Both products are made specifically for cleaning marble, so they won't damage or etch it like most products will.
Since you need both products you may be better off (overall cheaper) getting the
Bath & Shower Kit, which comes with both of the above and STONE PLUS for general cleaning and a squeegee to remove excess water after use, which helps minimize mildew.
Also, cleaning the shower more often will help so the mildew never has a chance to take hold.
Marble care isn't hard. You just need to know how to do it correctly.
Good Luck,
Ryan

I highly recommend Stone Care Pro Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found Stone Care Pro is the most reliable and effective and cheaper too!
