Cleaning Marble Shower Stall

QUESTION:
How do I clean a marble rim on the inside and outside of a shower stall? There is also a marble rim around a jacuzzi tub. It's a mystery to me.
ANSWER:
By "clean" I assume you mean everyday general cleaning and not that you have a particular stain or other problem.
Well, for regular cleaning there's not much more to tell than what you already read on the "Cleaning Marble" page where you asked this question, but...
In general, do NOT use caustic or abrasive cleaning chemicals... the kind you might typically use in a bathroom. Most common or brand-name cleaners are actually to harsh for cleaning marble and will damage the finish by etching.
Hot water and a soft scrub brush will work okay, but most showers will need particular cleaners to handle common issues like soap scum, mildew, etc.
For mold & mildew I recommend using this
Bathroom MOLD & MILDEW Remover.
For soap scum use this
Soap Scum / Hard Water Remover, which like the mold and mildew remover is very effective and made specifically to be safe on marble and all stone.
Once any of the above issues are handled, then I'd suggest using a general stone cleaner like this
Granite Countertop & Marble Cleaning spray.... works on shower glass walls and doors too!
If you do have a stain or some other problem, just ask another question, but give me more specific details about the size, color, location and possible cause (a photo helps too) and I'll be able to help you with that, otherwise....
Good Luck,
Ryan
