Cleaning Marble Mistake

QUESTION:

I think I have ruined my vanity top. My daughter sprayed some stain remover on a piece of fabric and it soaked through to the marble. Then, I used some cleaner and made the problem worse. My marble is brown with light beige. Can you please advise what I can use to clean these spots and dull places and make it look new again.

ANSWER:

Most likely you have etched your marble. Etching looks like a stain, but in fact it is chemical damage to your marble that causes a dull light spot.

You'll need to order MB-11 Marble Polishing Powder to fix the problem.

It's not difficult to use and should work well for your situation.

If it doesn't, then you have a severe problem that will require a marble restoration professional.

Good Luck,
Ryan

granite countertop cleanerI highly recommend MB Stone Care Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle) but found MB Stone Care is the most reliable and effective.
