Cleaning Marble Floor Wax & Scratches

QUESTION:

We have Italian marble floors that has a build up of reg wax. How do we remove the wax safely?? Also scratches??

ANSWER:

To safely remove wax from a marble floor I recommend using
SCP: DEEP CLEAN Stripper/Degreaser.

Very good for cleaning marble of floor wax, which shouldn't be used as a coating. Scuffs easy, requires ongoing maintenance and quickly looks crummy.

Regarding scratches... you may find that many of the scratches you are seeing are actually in the wax.

So, once the wax is removed you can assess the situation more clearly. If you do have scratches, then SCP: Marble Polishing Paste is effective at rubbing out light to medium scratches.

If you have deep scratches, you'll need to hire a marble maintenance or restoration pro to grind down and resurface the marble.
