Cleaning Marble Coating on Table

by Kerina
(Scotland, U.K.)

QUESTION:

I have a white marble with grey veins tabletop which has some kind of coating on it. This coating is now coming off starting at one corner should I try to remove the rest of it?

ANSWER:

Yeah, go ahead and remove it. You don't want any type of coating on your marble.

Don't use any standard household cleaner. You may damage or etch the marble. You can try acetone, but you may end up needing a more specialized cleaner like Deep Clean for stripping marble.

Good Luck,
Ryan

I highly recommend Stone Care Pro Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle) but found Stone Care Pro is the most reliable and effective.
