Cleaning Carrara Marble Sculpture

QUESTION:

I wish to clean a 1ft X 1ft x 10 inch 30lb sculpture of carrara marble two thirds rough snd one third smooth.

ANSWER:

Cleaning marble sculptures can take some time and care. Usually it's years of environmental pollution that accumulates on the surface.

If the grime gets into the pores and stains the marble, you may need professional restoration depending on the intricacy of the sculpture.

But to clean marble sculptures use the intensive TILE & GROUT Cleaner which is very powerful, but still safe for marble.

Spray on, let sit 10-15 minutes, scrub with soft-bristle brushes, rinse, repeat.

If discoloration is still a problem after removing all surface dirt, then this Mold & Mildew Remover is very helpful to "whiten" the marble.

Good Luck,
Ryan

I've used many good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found others more reliable, effective and cheaper too!
