Best Cleaning Products for Honed Marble Shower

QUESTION:

How do I clean honed marble counter tops and shower?

ANSWER:

Cleaning marble showers is simple. The main thing is to use non-abrasive, soft-bristle brushes/pads and of course, you want to use only products made safe for cleaning marble to avoid etching or other damage caused by common name-brand household cleaners.

For general cleaning use Stone PLUS Cleaner daily or as needed.

For soap scum build-up use PRISTINE Soap Film Remover, which is also excellent for hard water deposits.

For mildew use BLAST Mildew Remover.

Make sure to use the exhaust fan and to leave the shower door/curtain cracked open to allow for air circulation to dry quickly.

Also, using a squeegee to wipe excess water off the walls after each shower is good to minimize soap scum, hard water and mildew.

You should clean a marble shower at a minimum of every two weeks, but weekly is best to keep mildew and bacteria at bay.

FYI... you can save some money and get all the above in a Bath & Shower Kit.

Good Luck,
Ryan

I highly recommend Stone Care Pro Products to maintain all your marble, stone and granite countertops and floors in optimal condition. I've used other good products (Stone Tech, Miracle, MB) but found Stone Care Pro is the most reliable and effective and cheaper too!
